Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
In this year of the Eucharist, St. Mary's is blessed with many opportunities to spend time with Our Lord hidden in the Eucharist. This coming week we encourage you to sign up to pray with Our Lord in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Wednesday, August 11 from 9:30am to 7:00pm. We are still in need of more adorers to keep Him company, so please consider spending some time with Him who asked us: Could you not spend even one hour with Me? (Matt 26:40). Click Here to Register

Additionally, we are pleased to announce that two weeks from now on August 21 @ 3pm, St. Mary's will once again host a Living Rosary in honor of the Solemnity of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, asking her intercession for peace and protection of our parish and country. To do so, we need persons to sign up for a specific rosary bead (Click Here), who will sit in one of the chairs set up in front of the Church and pray his/her bead in turn. For those who would prefer not to lead a prayer but still want to pray with us, please sign up for our Assembly Section.

* Treasure and Tradition continues every Tuesday Night with:
- 6:00pm - Adoration and Confession
- 7:05pm - Traditional Latin Mass
* Prayer and conversation, Wednesdays at 9:30am
Join us for prayer and conversation after Mass in the Murphy room each week on Wednesday mornings.
* Holy Souls Apostolate, Fridays at 3pm
Each Friday we will gather to pray to relieve, and to gain release, for the suffering souls in Purgatory who can no longer help themselves. We will do this by focusing on prayer practices* which will include The Holy Souls Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet and Holy Souls Chaplet, Litanies and other selected prayers offered for the Holy Souls. As Saint Thomas Aquinas taught “there is no greater charity than to help the souls who cannot help themselves in Purgatory.”

Hosted by the Catholic Daughters, we will be discussing the book "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis.
* Farewell Celebration for Fr. Matt -- Sunday August 22, after the 11am Mass
Please join us downstairs for coffee and light fare as we say goodbye to Fr. Matt and wish him well in his new assignment in Brockton. (Please note: Fr. Matt has requested no gifts)
* Wine and Cheese Social -- Saturday, August 28, following the 4pm Mass
Please join us downstairs for this social event. There will be juice and water for the kids.

* If you have a child entering Grade 1 in the fall, please call the Rectory to register him/her for Religious Education.
* We are in need of Religious Education teachers at all grade levels. Please call the rectory if you are able to volunteer. Tuition is waived for those who volunteer to teach.

* Christmas Fair
The St. Mary’s Christmas Fair committee is working hard to secure donations for the annual Silent Auction. The online Silent Auction will be live for bidding on October 30 through November 6, 2021. We auction off merchandise, gift cards and services generously donated by local businesses or parish families. For more information, please see the bulletin (click here).
